Joyce Teague Scholarship Fund

In Memory of Joyce Teague

Joyce Teague was the longtime Executive Director of Concord Academy, serving in that role for 25 years, from 1987 to 2012. Joyce’s commitment to the school, however, spanned nearly 40 years. She began her journey of service as one of Concord’s first teachers in 1983, when the school was founded, and after her retirement, served as a trustee until 2020.

Joyce considered herself blessed with the opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special needs. She always spoke of her affection for her students and the joy of watching them succeed at Concord and in life. Her incredible legacy of servant leadership continues to drive the school’s mission: to prepare students with learning differences for lifelong success. We are forever grateful for Joyce's immense contributions to Concord Academy.

Joyce Teague passed away in December 2021 and it was her wish to establish a scholarship fund for the benefit of students who need financial assistance. Continuing in her spirit of giving, the Joyce Teague Memorial Scholarship Fund has been established in her honor.

Please consider a gift in Joyce’s memory to support the success of Concord’s students and in honor of her legacy.
